Leovegas in Málaga is seeking a Backend Engineer to advance the Sportsbook domain by delivering scalable backends and shaping architecture. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams in an agile environment to validate designs and drive impactful solutions.

The role focuses on building production-ready services, improving observability, and mentoring teammates while contributing to a fast-paced igaming mission.

Formación

• 4+ years of software development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and caching.
• Experience building scalable RESTful microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Own problems and collaborate across teams to design solutions from idea to production.
• Build scalable, available, high-performance, secure services across the stack.
• Mentor teammates and conduct code reviews to improve quality.
• Ensure production readiness via monitoring, alerts, and on-call participation.
• Work with product managers, architects, QA, and developers in an agile setting.

As a Backend Engineer in Málaga, you will advance the Sportsbook domain by delivering scalable, secure backends and shaping the architecture. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to validate designs and drive impactful solutions. The role focuses on building production-ready services, improving observability, and mentoring teammates, all within a fast-paced, agile environment.
