Join our dynamic Technology Team, comprising talented developers, engineers, and QA experts dedicated to advancing LeoVegas Group's digital infrastructure. As a Backend Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our robust and scalable technology stack.

Working with the latest technologies, you will help build and enhance our cloud-based platforms, ensuring they are distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant to meet the demands of our rapidly growing user base.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

As our Backend Engineer you will :

• Developing and maintaining microservices using Java, Spring, and JPA
• Integrating new sportsbook providers into the platform via API integration
• Optimising performance and scalability of backend systems
• Collaborating with frontend teams to expose data via APIs

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• 5+ years of experience with common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA
• Relational databases such as MySQL
• Building scalable and fault-tolerant systems and are familiar with microservices
• Git / Github
• Issue trackers such as Jira

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with elasticsearch, Kafka, Kotlin, Akka, Hazelcast, Consul, Datadog, DOCKER,
• GraphQL, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
