Lighthouse is building real-time AI-powered hospitality insights. You will design, implement and operate backend data-collection systems handling hundreds of millions of requests daily, collaborating with crawler engineers, DevOps and security teams to deliver scalable and reliable software.

You should be proficient in Rust or C/C++, comfortable with HTTP/TLS, and possess strong debugging and analytical skills.

Formación

• Hands-on experience building, deploying and running production backend services in a cloud environment.
• Experience with a systems language such as Rust or C/C++, or a proven track record in another backend language with a drive to deepen in Rust.
• Solid grasp of how the web works under the hood: HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS and proxies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and improve backend data acquisition systems handling large request volumes.
• Investigate crawler problems and implement robust, reusable solutions.
• Create clear interfaces and guardrails for other teams and AI agents.
• Own code quality with tests, observability and maintainability, including AI-assisted code.
• Collaborate with crawler engineers, DevOps and Security to ship secure, scalable solutions.
