Aircall is hiring for its Programmable Communications Team in Madrid, Spain. You’ll design and build scalable backend services, ensuring high availability and performance for voice and messaging infrastructure.

Work on CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production release workflows in AWS environments. Ideal candidates have strong backend experience, containerized deployments, and a solid grasp of RTC/VoIP protocols along with English communication skills.

Formación

• Solid experience building backend services with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, IaC, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
• Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD (or similar), release workflows, code reviews, and continuous delivery in production.
• Proficient in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience operating and optimizing systems in AWS production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build highly scalable and secure backend services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security to support high-volume workloads.
• Design and maintain robust CI pipelines (GitLab CI), release workflows, and automated testing to implement continuous delivery in production environments.
• Debug and optimize the application's performance, focusing on memory leaks and CPU usage in a desktop environment, critical for maintaining audio quality during calls.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize distributed systems in AWS production environments.
• Lead initiatives to improve the reliability, resilience, and performance of distributed systems from design through production operation.
• Apply knowledge of RTC / VoIP architectures and protocols
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues.
