To expand our services and offerings within Spain, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record to join our Spanish commercial team. The location of the position can be from Madrid or Barcelona.

Do you have a network in the vibrant life science industry and are a hero in building strong relationships with key decision makers? Do you have experience with selling high value Expert Services and Projects? Then this position might be a match!

What will be your responsibilities?

1. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and expand the business in Spain.
2. Prospect, identify and evaluate new business opportunities with new and existing customers in the region.
3. Build new and expand existing client relationships across multiple functions with key decision makers at C-level and operational level.
4. Build long-term customer relationships and strategic business partnerships in order to support clients through their journey from idea to patient.
5. Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities in order to achieve sales targets.
6. Manage the full sales process for opportunities from lead identification to contracting with accurate follow-up in the CRM system.
7. Evaluate complex questions and divide them into manageable parts to guide the customer from idea to patient.
8. Manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
9. Expand your network in the life sciences sector by playing an active role in different networking associations.
10. Build your internal network within the organization with QbD consultants, sales colleagues, HR, marketing.

Who are we looking for?

1. You have a master’s degree in a scientific field, with at least 10-15 years of field experience, commercial flair, and common sense.
2. You have a proven track record developing mid-level and senior customer contacts.
3. You are fluent in Spanish & English; knowledge of French is a big plus.
4. The medical device / pharma / biotech world is your passion, and you’re able to discuss technical details.
5. You have the ability to engage clients across different activities crucial for bringing the product to market.
6. You have a healthy dose of self-confidence; you listen actively to customers, partners, and colleagues.
7. You feel comfortable working with different tools and systems, ensuring accurate follow-up in the CRM system.
8. You communicate and report clearly and raise concerns in a timely manner.
