• Passionate about Java or Kotlin.
• Familiar with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Familiar with SQL, especially PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, Datadog).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of scalable web application principles (RESTful APIs, transactions, resiliency).
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Own the Feature, Own the Code – feel responsible for what you create. This starts with bringing in your feature ideas, goes over development, testing, and ends in deploying your code and monitoring it.

Design and develop systems based on product requirements or refactorings.

Maintain and improve existing systems by identifying application bottlenecks and performance issues, and optimize resource usage (DB access, cache, messaging, etc.).

Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment, contribute to and participate in agile ceremonies.

Be accountable for all the above topics, working together with the team.

You care about teamwork.

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and apply best practices.

Solve real problems impacting real users.

Review teammates' Pull Requests and provide feedback.

Participate in high-level technical decisions.

To be successful in this role:

• Passionate about Java or Kotlin.
