WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Architect, develop, and execute on our technology roadmap, transitioning from early-stage prototypes to scalable and resilient full-scale production backend services;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and the company’s overarching strategy;
• Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, emphasizing secure connections, data flow, and adaptability to the evolving needs of the business and market trends;
• Deliver technology solutions that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, driving the company’s growth and success;
• Continuously stay updated with the latest trends in backend and web3 development, ensuring Bastion remains at the forefront of technological advancements;
• Establish a scalable tech architecture that not only supports current business needs but also adapts to future market dynamics and customer demands.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience ;
• Strong programming skills in at least one backend technology ( Go, Rust, Python, Scala );
• Experience with cloud platforms and databases ;
• Proven ability to design robust systems and APIs from the ground up;
• Solid understanding of scalability, performance, and security best practices;

NICE TO HAVES

• Significant open-source contributions;
• Prior experience integrating with web3 protocols or blockchain systems;
• Experience working in a startup environment.
