N26 is seeking a talented software developer to join the Incentives team in Barcelona, Spain. You will be responsible for software development from discovery to maintenance, working within a dynamic team focused on customer engagement and premium membership services.

The ideal candidate will have experience with JVM languages like Kotlin, microservices, and cloud technologies, alongside excellent teamwork and communication skills. Enjoy a competitive benefits package that includes professional development budgets and a relocation package.

About The Opportunity

you will work in the Incentives team within the Grow & Engag​e domain. This is the heart of the customer experience ranging from the acquisition and signup to our premium membership tiers and the daily engagement of our users. You will work in teams delivering the newest and most innovative features serving our customers in the best way possible.

Location: Barcelona, Spain

In This Role, You Will

• Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables whilst working in a team who enjoy knowledge sharing sessions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology.
• Propose new findings during our Get Stuff Done Days (GSDD).

Background & Skills

What you need to be successful:

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (experience with Kotlin is a plus).
• Sound understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
