N26 is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Financial Empowerment domain. You will contribute to discovery, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of software in a thriving environment, collaborating with a diverse team to deliver reliable services.

The role emphasizes building scalable microservices with JVM and Spring Boot, using PostgreSQL and AWS, and staying current with new technologies.

Formación

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (Kotlin a plus).
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Experience with modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS.

About the opportunity

You will work in the Financial Empowerment domain. In this role, you will:

What you need to be successful:

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (note: experience of Kotlin would be a plus).
• Sound understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
