UST is a multinational technology services company with a strong focus on digital solutions. We are seeking a Java Backend Developer to join a project for a global wealth management client, working in a hybrid Madrid setting with potential relocation.

You will contribute to building a strong team of professionals, collaborate with client IT and business stakeholders, and leverage Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies to deliver impactful programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience delivering software for large enterprises.
• Familiar with TDD/BDD and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend services in Java with Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver value.
• Design, implement and operate cloud-native apps with Kubernetes/Docker.

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to contribute in a project with one of our global customers in wealth management. We are building a very strong team comprised of high caliber professionals that will work closely with the client’s IT and Business stakeholders to deliver impactful programs.

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects with talented colleagues in an international environment while developing your domain knowledge working for a top company.

Work model is hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH), feel free to apply if you are also open for relocation!

Skills

• Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards such as test oriented development using TDD and BDD.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing.
• Design, deploy, and manage applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and related technologies.
• Manage containerized applications in a cloud-native environment (Azure, etc).
• Willingness to learn new ways of working while supporting Julius Baer to transform itself.
• You take pride of your work and strive to lead by example.
• Master or Bachelor in Computer Science or any other related area, or proven relevant working experience.
• Very good English level
• Our stack: Java, Springboot. Service oriented architecture, RESTful services, SQL (Oracle), Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab, Jenkins, Streaming using Kafka, Avro, Open API, UML
