UST España & Latam is seeking top software talent for a hybrid Madrid-based role, focusing on both frontend and backend domains. The position emphasizes agile collaboration, DevOps practices, and delivering high-quality code in line with client standards.

You will work across cross-functional teams and engage in planning sessions to refine features.

Formación

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or proven relevant working experience.
• Strong in frontend and backend domains with openness to React and Spring Boot/Java when required.
• Good English communication skills.
• Delivery experience in Software Engineering using test-oriented development (TDD/BDD).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model.
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor the team's applications; participate in pull request reviews.
• Understand business needs by collaborating with colleagues from across different client divisions.
• Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with the team.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design software aligned with the client's architecture vision.
• Actively participate in Software Engineering communities, sharing knowledge and helping others.
• Deliver high-quality code aligned with client's guidelines and standards.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric model.
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor your team's applications; participate in pull request reviews.
• Understand business needs by collaborating with colleagues from across different divisions of client.
• Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with your team.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a can-do attitude, are pragmatic, and open-minded.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, and your ideas are welcome.
• You have proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards, such as test-oriented development using TDD and BDD.
• You understand DevOps concepts, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), and the importance and value of automated testing.
• You are willing to learn new ways of working and support client in its transformation.
• You take pride in your work and strive to lead by example.
• You hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have proven relevant working experience.
• Good English.

Work Location

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground).

Work Schedule

Business hours (40 hours weekly with 1 hour for lunch).
