SKIDATA is seeking a Backend Developer to design and build integrations that connect third-party systems with SKIDATA products. You’ll work primarily in C# / .NET, taking ownership from design through testing and documentation in a global team.

You’ll integrate with APIs and interfaces (REST, SOAP, gRPC, sockets), support partner integrations, and contribute to coding standards and CI/CD practices across regions.

Formación

• Strong backend development experience with C# / .NET.
• Hands-on integration experience between systems using REST APIs, SOAP, RabbitMQ.
• Solid knowledge of databases and software design.
• Familiar with CI/CD and DevOps, secure coding practices.
• Collaborative, analytical, and comfortable across regions/cultures.
• Fluent Spanish for daily collaboration; English at least B2.

Backend Developer (C# / .NET & Integrations) – Global Customized Solutions

As a Backend Developer, you'll primarily work with C# / .NET, designing and building software integrations that connect third-party systems with SKIDATA products. You'll solve varied technical challenges, work with integration partners and turn specific customer requirements into working solutions.

The role

You’ll take ownership of your own projects, from design and implementation through testing and documentation, while working as part of the global team. Alongside your development work, you’ll support colleagues across regions and contribute to shared coding, architecture and engineering practices.

What You’ll Work On

• Build custom integrations — design, develop, test and document backend solutions connecting third-party systems with SKIDATA products.
• Develop in C# / .NET — build reliable solutions primarily using .NET.
• Work with APIs and interfaces — develop and integrate solutions using technologies such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, RMQ and socket-based communication.
• Support integration partners — provide integration support for public interfaces and help third-party companies connect with SKIDATA systems.
• Contribute to engineering practices — support the implementation of coding standards, architecture guidelines and reusable frameworks, and contribute to practices such as CI/CD and AI-assisted development.
• Support colleagues across regions — assist regional developers and contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing and consistent engineering quality.

What Will Help You Succeed

• Backend development experience — strong professional software development experience, with solid hands-on skills in C# / .NET.
• Integration experience — hands-on experience building, deploying and supporting production integrations between systems with exposure to technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP, RabbitMQ and socket-based communication.
• Software development foundation — experience with databases and software design.
• Modern development practices — familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps, an understanding of secure coding, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborative approach — self-organised, analytical and comfortable working with colleagues across different regions and cultures.
• Language skills — Fluent Spanish is essential for day-to-day collaboration with the local team in Madrid. Business-level English (at least B2) is required for working across the international organisation.

Nice to have: Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React or other web technologies would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
