SKIDATA is seeking a Backend Developer to design and implement tailored software integrations that connect third-party systems with SKIDATA products. You will work on complex access solutions and own integration projects from design through delivery in a global team.

The role requires 3-5 years of backend experience with C#/.NET, REST/SOAP/gRPC, and CI/CD practices. Strong English and Spanish skills are essential for day-to-day collaboration across regions.

Formación

• 3-5 years of professional backend experience with C# / .NET.
• Experience delivering production-grade integrations between multiple systems.
• Experience with databases and software design; familiarity with Java or web tech is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps; awareness of secure coding.
• Excellent English and Spanish for day-to-day collaboration.

Backend Developer -- Global Customized Solutions

As a Backend Developer, you'll design and build tailored software integrations that connect third-party systems with SKIDATA products. You'll solve varied technical challenges, work with integration partners and turn specific customer requirements into working solutions.

The role

You'll independently own integration projects, from technical design through implementation, testing and documentation, while working as part of the global GCS team. Alongside your development work, you'll support colleagues across regions and contribute to shared coding, architecture and engineering practices.

What You'll Work On

• Build custom integrations --- design, develop, test and document backend solutions connecting third-party systems with SKIDATA products.
• Develop in C#/.NET --- build reliable solutions primarily using .NET.
• Work with APIs and interfaces --- develop and integrate solutions using technologies such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, RMQ and sockets.
• Support integration partners --- provide integration support for public interfaces and help third-party companies connect with SKIDATA systems.
• Contribute to engineering practices --- support the implementation of coding standards, architecture guidelines and reusable frameworks, and contribute to practices such as CI/CD and AI-assisted development.
• Support colleagues across regions --- assist regional developers and contribute to code reviews, technical mentoring and consistent quality.

What Will Help You Succeed

• Professional backend experience --- at least 3-5 years of professional experience developing and maintaining backend applications in C# / .NET, with the ability to work independently after onboarding.
• Integration delivery experience --- hand-on experience building, deploying and supporting production integrations between multiple systems using technologies such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, RMQ or sockets.
• Software development experience --- with databases and software design, with exposure to Java or web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript being a plus.
• Modern development practices --- familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps, an understanding of secure coding, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborative approach --- self-organised, analytical and comfortable working with colleagues across different regions and cultures.
• Business-fluent English and Spanish are required, as both languages are used regularly in day-to-day collaboration.
