Formación

ABOUT THE ROLE

Strands is looking for a Back-end Developer! You will join our Professional Services Team and help design and develop customisations of our innovative FinTech software that enables banks to offer personalised digital banking experiences.

You will take responsibility for the delivery of sophisticated and innovative backend solutions, built in a product that is being developed by a fast-paced, dynamic, international team. You will work with our offices in Barcelona and well-known customers around the world!

You will be doing things like...

1. Provide technical solutions to software delivery and integration challenges;
2. Analyse integration and implementation requirements to provide the best software experience to the customers;
3. Interact directly with customers’ technical teams;
4. Build applications with: Java server-side technologies, realtime messaging, event driven processing, bulk data processing, rest-api communications, rule based engines;
5. Develop data crunching processes to provide analytical data;
6. Develop software in a CI / CD environment;
7. Participate in software performance testing;
8. Integrate software components with SaaS environments.

You will be using your...

1. Experience using any of the software development tools: IntellJ, VS Code, SVN, Maven;
2. Experience using PostgreSQL or Oracle databases and building SQL queries for the Java repositories;
3. Experience in UNIX environments;
4. Familiarity with agile software development techniques.

Bonus Points :

1. Programming with SOLID and Clean Code paradigms;
2. Experience with Spring framework;
3. Experience with Kafka queues;
4. Fluent in Spanish.
