Backend Architect

Location: Malaga, Spain – Relocation Package Available

Work Arrangement: 2 days a week in the office

Salary: €110,000 - €140,000

Language Requirements: English & Russian

This company is one of the biggest and most successful businesses within their niche FinTech market space, with massive plans to build new Tech, Data & Delivery teams in 2025. They have established themselves over 10+ years across multiple countries and have received numerous industry awards.

They partner with major global FinTech companies and process diverse data variants across the industry. They are seeking a Backend Architect to enhance the security, efficiency, and scalability of their core system from both product and infrastructure perspectives. The ideal candidate has senior experience, a broad skill set, and leadership capabilities. FinTech experience is a plus but not essential.

This role is based in Malaga, Spain, and requires Russian & English language skills to facilitate communication across global teams. A relocation package to Spain is available, and the role involves working 2 days per week in the Malaga office.

Role Responsibilities:

1. 10+ years of backend development experience.
2. 3+ years in a similar architectural role.
3. Technical essentials include:
4. Python OR Golang, OOP Design, Multithreading, SQL.
5. Additional skills include:
6. Kubernetes, Cloud Infrastructure – AWS / Azure, DevOps.
7. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across global teams.
8. Lead design, selection, integration, and performance optimization of various products.
9. Set high standards for code quality and documentation.
10. Fluent Russian & English language skills.
11. Location: Malaga, Spain. Relocation Package of £10k.
12. Hybrid working model – twice a week in the office.
13. VISA sponsorship and support provided.
14. Salary: €110,000 - €140,000
