adesso Spain is seeking a Backend Developer / DBA to join our international team. You will contribute to a mission-critical data platform handling millions of transactions daily, collaborate with architects and senior engineers, and occasionally travel to Germany.

Key requirements include Java and Spring Boot, SQL with PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora, Kafka, cloud and DevOps skills (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins), and agile methods. Strong English is essential; German is a plus.

Formación

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora.
• Experience optimizing database performance and writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Experience working with cloud and DevOps technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.

This position involves working in an international environment, collaborating closely with architects, senior engineers, and stakeholders, with occasional travel to Germany.
