Qaracter - Beyond your Challenge busca un Desarrollador Backend con experiencia en Java, microservicios y bases de datos SQL. Trabajarás en proyectos bancarios/financieros, desarrollando y gestionando APIs REST/SOAP y soluciones event-driven con Kafka.

Ofrecemos un entorno internacional, prácticas modernas y oportunidades de aprendizaje continuo. Ubicación en Barcelona, con posibilidad de trabajar en entornos de nube y herramientas de CI/CD.

Formación

• Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo software con las tecnologías requeridas.
• Dominio de Java 8/11 y Core de Java.
• Experiencia con microservicios y aplicaciones empresariales.
• Conocimientos de Spring Boot, Kafka y API REST/SOAP.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mantener aplicaciones backend y microservicios en Java.
• Diseñar soluciones escalables y realizar pruebas unitarias/integradas.
• Trabajar con CI/CD, Git, Jenkins y SonarQube en entornos de producción.
• Colaborar con equipos de negocio y de arquitectura para entregar soluciones.

Are you a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in microservices, Spring Boot, Kafka, and enterprise applications? Do you enjoy working with modern technologies, designing scalable solutions, and contributing to complex financial technology projects? At Qaracter, we're looking for a Java Backend Developer to join a technology team working on banking and financial projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend applications and microservices, working closely with technical and functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about software development, enjoy working with new technologies, and are looking for new challenges in an international and constantly evolving environment. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java backend applications and microservices. Build scalable and robust solutions using Java and Spring technologies. Work with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream to develop enterprise applications. Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs following best practices and software design patterns. Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and contribute to Event-Driven Architecture initiatives. Work with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis. Develop and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito, as well as support API testing with Postman. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from technical analysis and development through testing, deployment, and production support. Collaborate with other developers, architects, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Work with CI/CD tools and practices, including Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube. Contribute to technical improvements, code quality, performance optimization, and continuous modernization of applications. Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, programming languages, and software engineering best practices.

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development using the required technologies and tools.
• Strong experience with Java 8 and 11, with a deep understanding of Java Core.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream.
• Solid experience developing microservices and enterprise backend applications.
• Good understanding of software design patterns and software engineering principles.
• Experience with Kafka and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Postman.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube within CI/CD environments.
• Experience with application servers and containers, particularly WebSphere and OpenShift.
• English level B2/C1 or higher.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Control-M.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Fluent Spanish (native or B2/C1).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
