About the job – Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer with expertise in B2C products to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our server-side applications. You will work with our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions to help our clients invest in real estate abroad.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain the consumer-facing production environment.
• Manage your own workload and prioritize tasks independently.

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development, particularly with consumer-facing production systems.
• Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience working in a modern development environment (trunk-based development, CI/CD, extensive testing, deployment strategies, A/B testing, etc.).
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Good knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
