We are looking for a Developer at MultiSafepay! Join a leading tech company driving innovation in the payments industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry giants like Visa and Mastercard, as well as next-gen "pay after delivery" solutions such as Klarna and Afterpay. We utilize Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and a microservices architecture to build scalable, maintainable systems. What will you be doing?

1. Develop and maintain Perl-based applications for risk management, monitoring, and onboarding processes.
2. Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
3. Assist in migrating projects from Perl to other languages, such as Java, ensuring smooth transitions.
4. Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
6. Demonstrate solid skills in either Java or Perl, with a willingness to grow in both.

Experience with backend systems development

• Familiarity with payment processing systems, transaction lifecycles, or integration with financial institutions.
• Understanding of security standards and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS).
• Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and supporting production systems under tight SLAs.
• Comfort working in Linux/Unix environments and openness to learning additional technologies, including Java.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication in cross-functional teams.
