Kureos busca un Backend/Platform Engineer para dar forma a la infraestructuras de datos de trading dentro de un equipo tecnológico de alto impacto. Diseñarás y mantendrás servicios backend escalables y pipelines de datos que conectan aplicaciones, datos y recursos en la nube.

Se requieren ≥7 años de experiencia, habilidades en Python/C#/Java, Azure, Kubernetes y PostgreSQL, además de prácticas DevOps. Fluidez en inglés; español es una ventaja. Modelo híbrido con días en Madrid.

Formación

• 7+ años de experiencia profesional en ingeniería de software.
• Dominio de Python, C# o Java para desarrollo backend.
• Experiencia con infraestructura en la nube, preferiblemente Azure.
• Experiencia práctica con Kubernetes, CI/CD y prácticas DevOps.
• Conocimientos de PostgreSQL y almacenamiento de datos.
• Comprensión de integración de datos, orquestación de workflows y sistemas distribuidos.
• Hábil comunicación y capacidad para influir en stakeholders técnicos y de negocio.
• Inglés fluido (C1+); el español es ventajoso.

Responsabilidades

• Construir y evolucionar servicios backend, APIs y herramientas de plataforma.
• Diseñar servicios robustos de integración e ingesta de datos entre aplicaciones, sistemas y almacenamiento.
• Desarrollar modelos de datos y soluciones de almacenamiento escalables y resilientes.
• Mejorar la calidad de datos, observabilidad, linaje y fiabilidad de la plataforma.
• Traducir necesidades de negocio en diseños técnicos claros y sostenibles.
• Colaborar con equipos de infraestructura en entornos cloud, aprovisionamiento y mantenimiento.
• Trabajar con Stakeholders para entregar resultados significativos.

Back-end / Platform Engineer - Trading Data Infrastructure

Join a high-impact technology team shaping the software and data infrastructure behind critical energy and trading processes. As a Backend Engineer / Platform Engineer, you’ll help build reliable, scalable services that connect applications, data and infrastructure across the organisation.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, designing pragmatic solutions and working across the boundaries of software engineering, data platforms and cloud infrastructure.

What you’ll do :

• Build and evolve backend services, APIs and platform tooling used by data and engineering teams.
• Design robust integration and ingestion services connecting applications, systems and storage.
• Develop performant data models and scalable, resilient storage solutions.
• Improve data quality, observability, lineage and platform reliability.
• Translate business needs into clear technical designs and sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams on cloud environments, provisioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and the business to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What you bring :

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development skills in Python, C#, Java or a similar language.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, ideally Azure.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Working experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of data integration, workflow orchestration and distributed systems.
• A pragmatic, analytical approach to complex engineering challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (C1 or better); Spanish is advantageous.
• Experience in energy or trading is welcome, but not essential.
