Kids&Us is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to build and evolve backend services, APIs and data platform tooling that connect applications, data and infrastructure across the organisation.

You will design robust ingestion services, data models and scalable storage, while collaborating with infrastructure teams on cloud environments and production readiness. English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development skills in Python, C#, Java or a similar language.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, ideally Azure.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Working experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of data integration, workflow orchestration and distributed systems.
• A pragmatic, analytical approach to complex engineering challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (C1 or better); Spanish is advantageous.

Join a high-impact technology team shaping the software and data infrastructure behind critical energy and trading processes. As a Backend Engineer / Platform Engineer, you'll help build reliable, scalable services that connect applications, data and infrastructure across the organisation.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, designing pragmatic solutions and working across the boundaries of software engineering, data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
