What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Business Analyst - Credit Risk & Compliance for our specialized team, with the possibility of remote work from anywhere in Spain.

Work location : 100% remote, within Spain.

Working hours : Monday to Friday, 09 : 00 to 18 : 00.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business partners, developers, testers, and integrators to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and develop clear documentation.
• Translate business needs into precise requirements for technical teams, minimizing ambiguity.
• Recognize implications of changes and formulate alternative solutions when necessary.
• Support technical teams during design and development, ensure requirements are met, and validate solutions before deployment.
• Develop and execute test plans, review logs, and manage data queries as needed.
• Depending on experience, lead or assist in planning modules or entire areas.
• Coordinate with teams in Mexico and Spain, reporting to delivery leads in Spain.

Minimum requirements to succeed :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience in IT banking domains.
• Experience with core banking applications and Risk & Compliance architectures (AML, Collections, credit risk decisioning).
• Knowledge of Agile / Lean methodologies.
• Experience converting business requirements into use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Experience with software delivery tools like Harness, Bamboo, Bitbucket.
• Ability to quantify resource requirements and communicate project benefits.
• Strong skills in risk assessment, problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing.
• Ability to engage effectively with developers and business partners to achieve objectives.
• Functional and technical knowledge in Risk and Compliance architectures, including integrations with Credit Bureaus, decision engines, AML tools, and collections systems.
• Understanding of business flows in these areas.
• Experience in digital banking environments, emphasizing high availability, performance, and online operations.
• Hands-on experience with IT banking projects, especially core banking transformations.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical issues clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and experience working in agile teams.
