A leading digital company in San Sebastián is seeking an AWS Backend & DevOps Developer to collaborate with a top global pharmaceutical firm. The role involves developing AWS-based products, managing technical demands, and ensuring optimal resource efficiency within the AWS environment. Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a AWS Backend & DevOps Developer that would like to collaborate with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies.
Description
Within a product team, specify, develop (Python), package, document and support an AWS-based product/solution for handling consents, preferences, and exclusions.
Support AWS infra resource provisioning. Design, build and deploy the AWS service configuration via Terraform templates or blueprints for (at least) the following AWS Services: S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue and RDS.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the AWS environment, providing guidance and support to other team members.
Maintain the AWS environment,
ensuring the necessary resources are cost efficient and running at an optimal state.
Ensure that monitoring is in place to detect and respond to events.
Handle a portion of daily support topics, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Manage technical demands using agile project management methodologies, connect and collaborate with various teams across the globe, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Compose and maintain container images used for the container systems, like ECS.
Configure CI/CD pipelines with the goal of automating the promotion of new releases to higher environments.
Experience
At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role: enough to be able to manage conflicts, challenge business customers, manage expectations and keep the focus on overarching goal/vision.
Proactive, autonomous, transparent and customer focus mindset with care to the details.
Continually learn and adapt to new technologies and situations, understanding the 'why' behind each scenario.
Must-have Skills
Fluent in English (MANDATORY). Document all work in English
Communication skills, especially working in virtual and global teams.
Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, VPC, RDS, API Gateway, Cloudwatch, etc.), particularly in supporting infrastructure as code (via Terraform).
Proficient in Python programming.
Proficient with DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) practices, knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. Good grasp of branching, merging, tagging, and maintaining version control.
Experience with managing RDS PostgreSQL databases
Nice to have skills:
Experience working with Agile methodology.
Experience working with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence).
