By partnering with Kerry, customers are taken on a journey to make food, beverage and pharma products that people enjoy and feel better about.

We expect to grow our business significantly in coming 12-36 months. The Senior Account Manager – reporting into the Commercial Director Iberia - will be responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts, being responsible for selling all relevant Kerry technologies and products into the designated account portfolio. They will create sustainable profitability for Kerry through developing and executing a strategic plan based on a deep understanding of customer portfolio (i.e. selected target customer group in Iberia).

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve current levels of profitability of products sold currently into existing customers.
  • Prospect and “close” new business opportunities through custom product and integrated solution selling to deliver profitable growth
  • Identify a portfolio of quality growth projects
  • Pro-actively defend current Business
  • Develop strong strategic relationships within customers’ organisation including R&D, Marketing and Procurement and foster counterpart relationships within Kerry.
  • Comply with all relevant Kerry systems / processes.

Qualifications and skills

  • 5-10 + years’ experience in Sales / Account Management, where her / his technical capability has actively contributed to winning new business
  • Experience in business development or selling in the Meat or Savoury industry
  • Good working knowledge of food science and how it relates to product development and its commercialization
  • Strong negotiating ability with clients to achieve successful outcomes for Kerry
  • Team player ready to partner up with multiple functions internally to finally deliver on common goals
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this role
  • Willing to travel up to 60%
