A leading purchasing office in Madrid is seeking a Key Account Manager. You will be responsible for the strategy and action plan for different product categories, managing negotiations with suppliers in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in purchasing, a background in Business Administration, and be fluent in English. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on maximizing sales and margins.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in FMCG or purchasing.
• Fluent in English at C1 level.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.

As part of the implementation of the Carrefour European Purchasing Group , the Key Account Manager is under the responsibility of Purchasing Manager.

You will develop the strategy and action plan for the assigned product families, according to the "role" established for their category, in the omnichannel environment (e-commerce, hypermarket, supermarket), defining assortment, promotional plans and carrying out the negotiation with suppliers, in order to maximise the sales and margin mass of the families assigned to them.

Your tasks will be:

- Responsible for the purchasing conditions of his/her scope
- Organizes and conducts commercial negotiations on international brands
- Responsible for the achievement of the goals on his scope




- Monitors its scope and analyzes the trends of its categories, products and suppliers
- Responsible for the reliability and completeness of the suppliers’ referencing and products within its scope
- Must respect compliance regarding the regulations in terms of commercial relations and commercial practices
- Responsible for optimizing the global financial conditions, in compliance with the group’s commercial policies
- Works in collaboration with the administrative and commercial management of the European purchasing center and the FMCG purchasing and offer teams of 6 countries
- The candidate is the contact person between the global teams of the manufacturers and the merchandise teams of the countries
- Manage a negotiation coordinator in charge of the operational deployment of the negotiation

Requirements:

- Education: Business Adminsitration
- 5 years or more of experience in FMCG or purchasing
- Languages: English C1
- Technical skills: MS Office (Advanced Excel), Google Workspace, negotiation, operating account, DOFO.
