We are now looking for a Middle+ Front-end Engineer to join our team.

About the project

A big international company specializing in gift cards, including issuing, distribution, processing payments, exchanging, refilling, and more. The company also works with digital content like eGifts, incentive cards, and rewards, supporting multiple e-commerce sites and platforms for gift card distribution. It maintains core services managing the gift card ecosystem.

Work schedule

Flexible hours, shifted to later hours until 19-20:00 CET.

Team

3 front-end developers, 1 back-end/devops, 1 QAA, 1 tech lead, 1 manager.

Responsibilities
  • Lead as a technical expert within an international team from multiple regions.
  • Own key projects through analysis, decomposition, and planning.
  • Develop high-load, multi-country, multi-language e-commerce platforms using Next.js, React, AEM, Adobe Commerce.
  • Architect and develop front-end solutions with React, TypeScript, and AEM.
  • Create and maintain React components, ensuring performance and accessibility standards.
  • Develop best practices for front-end development and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work with product owners to prioritize features and enhancements.
  • Provide technical documentation and troubleshoot issues.
  • Share knowledge and assist the engineering team.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of front-end development experience, especially with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building scalable, maintainable web applications.
  • Proficiency with Storybook, design systems, Next.js, Node.js, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of component-based architecture, state management, CI/CD, and testing.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience, strong analytical skills, and good communication.
Bonus points
  • Experience with e-commerce or payments.
  • Knowledge of SSR, SSG, headless CMS, Adobe Commerce/Magento, GraphQL, AWS, web analytics, and personalization tools.
