A leading tech company is seeking a VDI expert to enhance their infrastructure in Spain. The role involves managing AVD + Nerdio environments, onboarding applications, and providing remote support. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in VDI technologies and be fluent in both Spanish and English.

Formación

• Rich experience in VDI infrastructure planning, designing, and implementation.
• Experience with large-scale application deployments for VDI environments.
• Proficiency in scripting (VBScript/PowerShell) and troubleshooting during UAT.

Descripción del empleo

Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily health checks and review AVD + Nerdio environment.
2. Monitor ServiceNow queue and act accordingly.
3. Analyze new service requests and coordinate with requesters.
4. Onboard and configure new applications on AVD + Nerdio platform.
5. Rewrap application packages using PSADT toolkit and configure with blob storage.
6. Coordinate with application vendors/owners, security, network, and firewall teams.
7. Coordinate with UAT and pre-production testers to validate changes, performance, and functionality.
8. Update Nerdio scripted actions and action groups to customize/optimize application and desktop delivery.
9. Configure autoscaling criteria for AVD session hosts as required.
10. Provide remote support to end-users, handling incidents, problem tickets, and service requests.
11. Build required monthly reports in collaboration with the customer.

Qualifications:

• Rich experience in VDI infrastructure planning, designing, and implementation with various technologies.
• Experience in defining, documenting, and conducting POCs for VDI services.
• Responsible for high and low-level design documentation for VDI infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale application deployments and customizations for VDI environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot major issues during UAT/Pilot phases.
• Experience designing and deploying Azure AVD Workspace VDI infrastructure, including FSLogix profile management and Nerdio Manager automation.
• Experience with Citrix suites like XenApp/XenDesktop, NetScaler, PVS, Storefront, and AppSense.
• Knowledge of NetScaler (ADC) VPX, SDX, and MPX deployment.
• Experience with Wyse Device Manager integration.
• Proficiency in scripting (VBScript/PowerShell).
• Knowledge of Azure AD, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
