A leading analytics company is seeking a Data Scientist to manage Master Data aspects of Azure products. This role focuses on ensuring data quality, implementing reusable data strategies, and establishing a single source of truth within their analytics platform. A strong background in Azure and familiarity with SAP or Power BI is desired. This is a fully remote freelance position with a 9-month contract and possible extension.

We are seeking a Data Scientist (or similar role) to focus on the Master Data aspects of Azure data products currently under development within our analytics platform.

Responsibilities :

• Program Follow-up : Ensure visibility and incorporation of Master Data components into project plans.
• Data Requirement Gathering : Assist in collecting data requirements for use cases and perform both functional and technical analyses to validate them.
• Master Data Re-usability : Promote reusability of Master Data within the analytics workspace, minimizing data duplication and unnecessary variations.
• Single Source of Truth : Help establish and monitor a single source of truth for Master Data in Azure, including backlog management of existing data products using alternative sources.
• Single Point of Contact (SPOC) : Serve as the primary contact for Master Data within the Data & Analytics (D&A) program and the tech Master Data team.

Requirements :

• Experience in Azure Analytics : Proven experience as a developer or analyst working with Azure analytics.
• SAP Knowledge : Experience and familiarity with SAP systems.
• Power BI / BW Experience : Ideally, familiarity with Power BI and Business Warehouse (BW).
• Project Team Experience : Participation in project activities such as meetings, planning, and cross-functional discussions; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Fluent English : Proficiency in English; Spanish is not required.
