AWS Software Architect (gn)

Pensum: full time

Location: Madrid, Barcelona, León, Santiago / working model: hybrid

• You will support the SoftwareOne business development team in defining strategies to implement software development solutions within key industry sectors.

• You will guide customers in building and migrating applications, software, and services following the principles of the Well-Architected Framework (AWS preferred, but Azure or GCP experience is also valued).

• You will educate enterprise customers on the value of the cloud and engage in deep technical discussions to ensure successful solution design.

• You will build strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customer organizations to help them become cloud advocates.

• You will act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

• You will capture and share best practices within the software architecture and cloud solutions communities.

• You will deliver one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to customers considering or already using cloud services (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP also considered).

Technical Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing software solutions, including scalable cloud-based architectures and microservices.

• Experience with automation for managing infrastructure, databases, and application architectures.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Skills and Competencies:

• Deep technical expertise in software architecture and cloud computing.

• Strong customer-facing skills, ideally gained in presales or consultancy roles.

• Strategic thinking ability to address business, product, and technical challenges with tailored solutions.

• Awareness of technology trends and how they influence the way businesses consume IT services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing, sales-aligned roles such as consultant, solutions engineer, or solutions architect.

• Experience presenting to diverse audiences (CTOs, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers).

• Experience with Web Services.

• Experience in Solutions Architecture.

• AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect Certifications (Associate, Developer, or Professional level).
