Position: Cloud Security Specialist

Location: Pontevedra, Spain

Work Arrangement: 100% remote

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Cloud Security Management: Monitor, secure, and optimize AWS environments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal standards. Manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools such as Sysdig or comparable solutions.
2. Risk and Compliance: Perform regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits. Implement and enforce compliance with GRC frameworks and regulatory standards like CIS and NIST.
3. Tool and Automation Integration: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and policy-as-code with Rego to enhance security posture.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS security implementations.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, GRC frameworks, and standards such as CIS and NIST.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Python scripting and Rego for automation and policy definition.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, security best practices, and automation tools.
