Giesecke+Devrient busca un Cloud Engineer para unirse al equipo en Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona. Rol hands‑on centrado en infraestructuras cloud, automatización, contenedores y rendimiento de aplicaciones dentro de un entorno SAFe/Scrum.

Se requiere 5+ años con AWS y experiencia en Kubernetes, Terraform y CI/CD. Se valoran certificaciones AWS y conocimientos de seguridad. Horario flexible con opción de trabajo remoto 3 días/semana.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia práctica con AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation).
• Experiencia migrando pilas a AWS (rehosting/replatforming/refactoring).
• Experiencia en orquestación de contenedores (Kubernetes/OpenShift y/o ECS).
• Infraestructura como código con Terraform y Ansible.
• Linux/Unix y virtualización (VMware, Docker).
• Monitoreo y rendimiento (Splunk, Nagios) y tuning de stacks (Tomcat/JBoss/NGINX).
• Conocimientos de networking (OSI, TCP/IP).
• Trabajo en equipos Agile/Scrum; SAFe es una ventaja.
• Habilidades de scripting (Bash, Python).
• Nivel alto de inglés.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, implementar y gestionar AWS Landing Zones y la infraestructura base.
• Apoyar la migración de pilas a AWS, asegurando rendimiento y seguridad.
• Gestionar clústeres Kubernetes y despliegues Docker.
• Automatizar despliegues con Terraform, Ansible y CI/CD.
• Instalar y mantener sistemas operativos y herramientas nativas de nube.
• Soportar soluciones en AWS/OpenStack y otras plataformas.
• Monitorear rendimiento, resolver cuellos de botella y colaborar con desarrollo.
• Mantener seguridad, copias de seguridad y recuperación ante desastres.
• Escribir scripts para aumentar la eficiencia operativa.

At G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to join our agile team.

You’ll be instrumental in building and managing our AWS Landing Zone, supporting application teams across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and enabling secure, scalable, and automated cloud deployments.

This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on cloud infrastructure, automation, container orchestration, and system performance. You’ll work in a Scrum team, and experience with SAFe is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS Landing Zones and foundational cloud infrastructure.
• Support migration of application stacks to AWS, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker container deployments.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, cloud‑native tools, and monitoring solutions.
• Support cloud‑based solutions across AWS, OpenStack, and other cloud platforms.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers on improvements.
• Maintain system security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Write and maintain scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of extensive hands‑on experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, Route 53, and AWS Organizations.
• Proven experience in migrating application stacks to AWS (rehosting, replatforming, or refactoring).
• Mandatory experience with container orchestration, such as Kubernetes (Open Source and OpenShift) and/or Amazon ECS.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Solid experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios) and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, NGINX).
• Understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams; SAFe experience is a plus.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tooling.
• High level of English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Prior experience in telecom or mobile network environments.
• Understanding of GSMA security and compliance frameworks.
