You will develop and support an AWS-based product, leveraging your hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform. Omega CRM Consulting is seeking an AWS Backend & DevOps Developer to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company.

Role Description

Within a product team, develop (Python), package, document, and support an AWS-based product for managing consents, preferences, and exclusions. Support AWS infrastructure provisioning and design, build, and deploy AWS service configurations using Terraform for services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, and RDS. Act as an SME for AWS environments, providing guidance and support, maintaining the environment for cost efficiency and optimal performance, and ensuring monitoring is in place. Handle daily support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Manage technical tasks using agile methodologies, collaborate with global teams, and ensure timely project delivery. Maintain container images and configure CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

Experience Requirements

3-4 years in a similar role, capable of managing conflicts, challenging customers, managing expectations, and focusing on overarching goals. Proactive, autonomous, transparent, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and adaptable to new technologies and scenarios.

Essential Skills

Fluent in English (mandatory). Excellent communication skills, especially in virtual and global teams. Spanish proficiency is a plus. Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, MWAA, ECS, Glue, VPC, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch). Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform). Proficient in Python. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with version control and RDS PostgreSQL databases.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Agile methodologies and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
