Our client, a global leader in education with a rich digital offering, is seeking a Business Development Manager (Europe) to drive their sales and business growth across Europe. This remote-based role offers an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact and contribute to the company's continued expansion and success! As a fully-remote role (with travel as required across the territory), the ideal candidate will preferably be based in Spain, or otherwise another European country.

  • Salary : Competitive, depending on skills / experience, plus bonus and benefits

Must Haves

  • Sales Experience : A proven track record in consultative sales, particularly within K12 / international schools or ELT publishing or EdTech environments.
  • Market Knowledge : Experience working within the international education sector, with a solid understanding of key curricula such as IB, Cambridge, and US CC / NGSS.
  • Channel Partnerships : Experience sourcing, managing, and growing channel and distribution partner networks across regions.
  • Customer-Facing Expertise : The ability to engage with senior decision-makers at international schools, building relationships and closing high-value deals.

About You : We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in a remote, independent role. With a growth mindset, you will be proactive, resilient, and capable of managing your own schedule effectively, and have the ability to see the bigger picture and take a strategic approach. Excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate relationships at all levels are essential. Strong numerical and analytical skills will ensure you meet and report on sales targets and key performance metrics.

As well as fluency in the local language, e.g. Spanish, you will have minimum C1 level English language skills. You will be solution-focused, with the drive to navigate complex sales cycles. A genuine passion for education and the ability to empower schools and partners will set you apart.

The Role : As Business Development Manager (Europe), you will :

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy, aligned with the company's revenue targets.
  • Manage key customer relationships and identify new business opportunities across Europe.
  • Build and maintain channel partnerships, ensuring mutual growth and collaboration.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

You will also be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and nurturing long-term relationships with schools and institutions across the region. You will be comfortable demonstrating products to schools, handling the hands-on sales side, as well as the more strategic sales planning.
