Job summary

Pronto AI is expanding in Europe and opening its Madrid office to support autonomous truck operations across the region. The role focuses on maintaining production systems, debugging Linux-based platforms, and working with international engineers to deploy hardware and software at customer sites.

You will engage with real-time operations, help improve diagnostic tools, and contribute to building Pronto's European engineering presence and workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software, hardware or robotics development.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux systems.
• Hands-on debugging embedded systems.
• Fluent English read/write technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain autonomous trucks in production across global sites.
• Diagnose and debug Linux-based systems across firmware, software and embedded layers.
• Collaborate with customers and on-site teams to address operational needs.
• Assist installation and integration of hardware at new sites in Europe and beyond.
• Build debugging and monitoring tools to improve support and failure analysis.
• Develop software for autonomous systems with international engineering teams.
• Contribute to localization, controls, path planning, safety systems, sensor fusion, hardware integration and camera pipelines.
• Help shape processes, tooling, and culture of Pronto's first European team.
