Job summary

Pronto AI in Madrid is seeking software, hardware, and robotics developers to support and maintain autonomous trucks in production, diagnose Linux-based systems, and work with customers and on-site teams to address operational needs.

You will collaborate with international engineering teams to develop software for autonomous systems, engage across localization, controls, path planning, safety, sensor fusion, and hardware integration, and help shape processes for Europe.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software, hardware, and/or robotics development.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience debugging embedded systems.
• Comfort with remote connections (SSH) and command-line tools.
• Programming in Python or C/C++ for code analysis and bug fixing.
• Fluent English for daily collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain autonomous trucks in production at Pronto's sites.
• Diagnose and debug Linux-based systems across firmware, software, and embedded layers.
• Collaborate with customers and on-site teams to address operational needs and ensure proper execution.
• Support installation and integration of hardware at new sites as Pronto expands in Europe and beyond.
• Build debugging and monitoring tools to improve technical support and failure analysis.
• Develop software for autonomous systems with international engineering teams.
• Engage across localization, controls, path planning, safety systems, sensor fusion, and hardware integration.
