We’re Hiring: Automation Maintenance Engineer – EBRO Factory

EBRO is driving the industrial transformation of the automotive sector — and we want you to be part of it. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automation Maintenance Technician to join our production maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our automated systems and equipment.

What will you do in this role?

As part of the Automation Maintenance team, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing automation and robotic systems in real-time to minimize downtime.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on PLCs, sensors, actuators, robots, and production lines.
  • Analyzing recurring failures and leading improvement actions to optimize system reliability.
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Production teams on process automation improvements.
  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment and projects.
  • Ensuring all actions follow health & safety standards and are properly documented using CMMS.

What are we looking for?

We seek a hands-on technician with the following background:

  • Vocational or Technical Degree (CFGS / CFGM) in Industrial Automation, Electromechanics, Electronics, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in automated industrial environments (preferably automotive or Tier 1).
  • Proven skills in Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc, ABB, pneumatic, and sensor systems.
  • Experience working with CMMS tools (e.g., Rosmiman, SAP) and TPM methodologies.
  • Team player, proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Availability for rotating shifts and a willingness to grow with us.
