Sibelco Group in Arcos, Spain, is hiring an Automation Engineer to support the optimization, maintenance, and development of automation systems and instrumentation, with opportunities to contribute to automation, digitalization, robotics, and Industry 4.0 projects across the cluster.

This early-career role seeks a proactive engineer with a technical background in automation or related field, 1–2 years of experience, PLC/SCADA knowledge as an advantage, and good teamwork and English skills.

Formación

• Technical qualification in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in automation design or similar industrial environment.
• Curious, proactive, and open-minded with interest in new technologies and industrial applications.
• Knowledge of PLC and SCADA is an advantage, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, ability to work independently and in a team, and technical English; travel to other sites within the cluster may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automation systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and control interfaces.
• Design, testing, and implementation of new automation solutions and improvements to machinery and processes.
• Participating in problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis to improve efficiency and machine availability.
• Coordinating with internal teams and third-party providers on maintenance, services, spare parts, and improvements.
• Contributing to automation, digitalization, robotics, and Industry 4.0 projects across the cluster.
