Sibelco in Arcos de la Frontera, Spain, is seeking an Automation Engineer to support maintenance, optimization, and development of automation systems and instrumentation within a modern plant. You will collaborate with maintenance, OPEX, engineering teams, and other sites to advance automation projects and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

The role emphasizes learning, hands-on experimentation, and contributing practical improvements across digitalization, robotics, and automation tools.

Formación

• Technical degree or diploma in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• 1–2 years of automation design experience in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to travel to other sites within the cluster when required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and control interfaces.
• Design, test, and implement new automation solutions and improvements to machinery and production processes.
• Participate in RCA initiatives to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers on automation maintenance, services, spare parts, and improvements.
• Support automation, digitalization, robotics, and Industry 4.0 projects across the cluster.
