Formación

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience in automation.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
• Ability to understand P&ID drawings and electrical schematics.

About the job

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support for vision and automation systems of our clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing systems and control panels related to serialization and packaging projects in the pharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience in automation.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within Europe.
• Ability to understand P&ID drawings, network diagrams, panel layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explore alternative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robotic systems, and SCADA systems under senior engineers' guidance.
• Set up and optimize equipment for peak performance; support FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities from an automation perspective.
• Install new or modified packaging equipment at client sites, ensuring full functionality per specifications, including electrical testing and vision system setup.
