A leading automation firm based in Madrid is seeking a Control Automation Developer to participate in the design of control systems and programming of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. The ideal candidate has a degree in Industrial or Telecommunication Technologies, fluent Spanish and English communication skills, and at least one year of experience in a similar position. This role offers opportunities for travel and project site relocations.

Formación

• At least 1 year of demonstrable experience in a similar control position.
• Advanced knowledge of Office applications.
• Knowledge of network communication protocols such as Profinet and Ethernet TCP/IP.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the design of control systems in coordination with other departments.
• Program PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for plant control.
• Generate control project documentation including control logic diagrams.

Descripción del empleo

As a Control Automation Developer, your main contributions will include:

1. Participating in the design of control systems in coordination with other departments.
2. Programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for plant control.
3. Generating I&C project documentation such as IO Lists, Control Philosophy, Control Logic Diagrams, and Control Architecture.
4. Designing control system architectures, network distribution, and communication protocols for device integration.
5. Assisting with FAT, SAT, and commissioning as the I&C responsible and supporting the commissioning team during plant start-up.
6. Preparing documentation for control system quotations and analyzing provider offers.

Qualifications for success include:

• A university degree in Industrial or Telecommunication Technologies or similar.
• At least 1 year of demonstrable experience in a similar control position.
• Fluent communication skills in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
• Advanced knowledge of Office and programming software (PLC / HMI / SCADA).
• Knowledge of network communication protocols (Profinet, Ethernet TCP/IP) and serial communications (Modbus, Profibus).
• Proficiency with Step7 and WinCC.
• The ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and work well in a team.
• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and resolve issues.
• International experience (study or work) is valued.
• Willingness to travel and potentially relocate to project sites.
