What will you do

As the VP of Data, you will lead the data strategy to enhance our funding products and SaaS applications. You will harness data to drive our product innovation and improve client outcomes.

Your contribution to our success

In this role, you will…

• Define and implement a data strategy aligned with re : cap's mission to provide cutting-edge funding solutions and automate financial operations.
• Build data products integrated into our customer-facing applications with our Engineering team.
• Manage the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI solutions to automate financial operations and generate insights.
• Improve data quality processes and establish data governance frameworks for data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Provide strategic guidance to founders and board members on data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and support their objectives.
• Lead teams of data engineers, data scientists, and financial data specialists to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to integrate data solutions into our platform and products.

Who we are looking for

8+ years in data management, analytics, or data science roles, with fintech or SaaS focus.

4+ years of leadership in fast-growing environments, fostering data-driven culture.

Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with DuckDB and Parquet is a plus.

Expertise in machine learning frameworks and deploying ML applications.

Ability to optimize data processes and pipelines.

Deep experience with modern data stack architectures, including dbt.

Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Strategic thinking about data-driven financial and SaaS solutions.

Understanding of fintech landscape, funding solutions, SaaS, compliance, GDPR.

Innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking mindset.

Fluent in English; German is a plus. EU work permit required.
