A leading company in event production is seeking an Audiovisual Production Manager to oversee technical elements for high-end events in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV production, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This permanent position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and a solid understanding of event video, lighting, and sound production.

Formación

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in AV production.

  • Native English; proficiency in French & Spanish is a plus.

We are currently looking for an Audiovisual Production Manager for a permanent position to join our team in Barcelona.

The Production Manager is responsible for managing the production of all technical elements for various high-end special events.

The position requires someone who is detail-oriented and has strong knowledge of event video, lighting, sound, and rigging production.

The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize workflow, and support a multidisciplinary team.

Effective communication skills are essential to communicate extensively with clients and production staff efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Design and prepare all events in collaboration with the production team, including creating gear and crew lists.
  2. Perform site visits with clients and event teams.
  3. Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and requirements.
  4. Ensure the necessary crew and gear are requested for lighting & AV events.
  5. Coordinate with freelance technical staff regarding expectations for each job.
  6. Coordinate with related vendors to ensure a smooth onsite working environment.
  7. Oversee production staff at event locations to meet client production needs.
  8. Manage company inventory and rentals from vendors when necessary.
  9. Maintain a working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and staging gear.

Please note that only experienced AV technicians with a minimum of 10 years in the field will be considered.

  • A very strong technical knowledge of video, lighting, and audio equipment is a MUST.
  • Languages: Native level of English; proficiency in French & Spanish is a plus.
  • A background in production & management.
  • Strong working knowledge of event production.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Comfortable working with database software.
