Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an ATC Software Engineer to configure and design wayside and onboard signaling for national and international projects. You will ensure trains move safely using ERTMS/CBTC, acting as the technical expert for ATC subsystems and data preparation tools.

The role requires a degree in a related field, experience with rail signaling ATC technologies, strong Excel data analysis skills including VBA, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Rail Signaling, specifically ATC technologies for Mass Transit (CBTC) or Main Line (ERTMS).
• Advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including VBA macros.
• Strong knowledge of CENELEC standards and V-model life cycle processes.
• Fluency in English to collaborate across distributed international teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for ATC sub-system functional behavior, engineering rules, and data preparation tools.
• Engineer ATC-specific configuration based on project requirements and manage software within budget and milestones.
• Support testing, verification, and safety teams with software configuration issues and log analysis.
• Drive all phases of the ATC application engineering cycle from requirements to implementation and commissioning.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation aligned with project requirements and regulations.
