The Opportunity

Sales development is one of the most critical processes an organisation can build to deliver a consistent, seamless, and efficient revenue machine. Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a motivated and driven Associate Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will play a pivotal role in the generation of pipeline. This will be accomplished by connecting with prospects supplied by marketing teams on a one-to-one basis and through multiple communication avenues: calling, LinkedIn messages, emails, etc. You will also work closely with field sales to target whitespace accounts, all of which are critical for the company’s growth. The most successful SDRs seek out opportunities by building rapport with prospects, understanding their environment, and educating them on our solutions to facilitate closing deals.

Inside Sales at Nutanix

We have a team of Sales Development Representatives across several countries. You will be working alongside them. We also provide comprehensive training to kick start your career at Nutanix, along with a peer mentor to share best practices and help you get started. Ongoing training will develop your skills and prepare you for your next step at Nutanix.

Your Role

  • Identify and nurture potential new business opportunities to grow the pipeline, scheduling first-call meetings with prospects for the sales team.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, providing feedback to improve targeting and lead quality.
  • Maintain high activity levels through calls, emails, and other prospecting tools to target relevant prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales, channel, and marketing teams to deliver meetings and opportunities, building new account lists for campaigns.
  • Execute outbound campaigns to acquire new business in your territory.

What You Will Bring

  • Less than two years of related experience; recent graduates motivated to learn and start a career in sales are encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization, Storage, and Cloud computing marketplaces is preferred.
  • Proven track record of overachieving targets is a plus.
  • Tenacious, ambitious, with a strong work ethic and interest in sales.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize sales opportunities effectively.
  • Proactive, creative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
  • Passionate about technology and innovative products.
  • Willing to learn, be coached, and adopt new sales techniques.
  • Experience with CRM or Lead Management tools is a plus.
