Offer Description

IQS is currently seeking candidates for the 2025-2026 academic year to fill the position of Associate Professor in Engineering (Profesor/a Contratado/a Doctor/a) in the Department of Industrial Engineering. The role involves teaching, research development, and other academic duties. Main responsibilities include:

1. Teaching various topics related to industrial engineering, human-machine interaction, and digitalization.
2. Developing research aligned with IQS and Ramon Llull University's scientific policies, integrating with departmental research activities.
3. Securing competitive research funding, participating in technology transfer projects, and fostering internal collaborative research programs.
4. Establishing and promoting international research collaborations.

Minimum Requirements

• PhD in Engineering, preferably in digitalization or related fields.
• Postdoctoral or industrial experience, ideally international, in Mechatronics or related areas.
• Research publications in international journals and/or patents.
• Teaching experience at bachelor or master levels with a strong experimental approach.
• Participation in or leadership of competitive research projects with external funding.
• Proficiency in English for teaching purposes.
• Accreditation of teaching/research activity by national agencies or sufficient merits for accreditation.
• Experience with industrial projects involving actuators, sensors, and electronic device integration, with data acquisition for applications in medical, bioengineering, chemical, or industrial sectors.
