Offer Description

IQS is seeking candidates for the 2025-2026 academic year for the position of Associate Professor in Engineering (Profesor / a Contratado / a Doctor / a) in the Department of Industrial Engineering. The role involves teaching, research development, and other academic duties. Main responsibilities include:

1. Teaching various topics related to industrial engineering, human-machine interaction, and digitalization.
2. Developing research aligned with IQS and Ramon Llull University policies, coordinating with the Department of Industrial Engineering.
3. Securing research funding, leading projects of technology transfer, and fostering internal and external research collaborations, including international partnerships.

Minimum Requirements

• PhD in Engineering, especially in digitalization and related fields.
• Postdoctoral or industrial experience, preferably internationally, in Mechatronics or related areas.
• Research publication record in international journals and/or patents.
• Teaching experience at bachelor or master levels, with a strong experimental approach.
• Participation and leadership in competitive research projects with external funding.
• Proficiency in English for teaching purposes.
• Recognition of teaching and/or research activity by national evaluation agencies or equivalent merits.
• Experience with industrial projects involving actuators, sensors, and electronic device integration, with applications in medical, bioengineering, chemical, or industrial sectors.
