Offer Description

IQS is currently looking for candidates for the 2025-2026 academic year to fill the position of Associate Professor in Engineering (Profesor / a Contratado / a Doctor / a) in the Department of Industrial Engineering. The role involves teaching, research development, and other academic duties. Main responsibilities include:

1. Teaching topics related to human-machine interaction and digitalization in industrial engineering.
2. Developing research aligned with IQS and Ramon Llull University policies, integrating with the department's activities.
3. Securing research funding, participating in technology transfer projects, and establishing collaborative research programs.
4. Fostering international research collaborations.

Minimum Requirements :

1. PhD in Engineering, particularly in digitalization and related fields.
2. Postdoctoral or industrial experience, preferably international, in Mechatronics or related areas.
3. Research publications in international journals and/or patents.
4. Teaching experience at bachelor or master levels with an experimental approach.
5. Experience in leading competitive research projects and securing external funding.
6. Proficiency in English for teaching purposes.
7. Teaching and/or research accreditation by national agencies or equivalent merits.
8. Experience with industrial projects involving actuators and sensors, electronic device integration, and applications in medical, bioengineering, chemical, or industrial sectors.

Selection Process :
