Job Overview

The Associate Medical Director / Medical Director will provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory expertise to all IQVIA divisions as requested. Responsibilities include participating in all aspects of Medical Science involvement on assigned trials, serving as a medical expert during project delivery, and providing therapeutic and medical expertise to business development activities.

Essential Functions

  • Medical Monitoring: Serve as Global Medical Advisor on assigned projects, guiding project teams on medical and scientific aspects, supporting investigative sites, reviewing protocols, and attending meetings. Respond to urgent protocol-related issues as needed.
  • Perform medical reviews of protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures, Case Report Forms, and Clinical Study Reports.
  • Provide therapeutic area training and support for clinical teams.
  • Attend investigator meetings and project meetings.
  • May require travel and be available 24/7 for urgent issues.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school, with a medical license.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical medicine experience and 4 years in clinical trials or related industry roles.
  • Specialty Board certification.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects in the therapeutic area.
  • Understanding of applicable regulations and guidelines.
