Associate Medical Director - Endocrinologist, Home-Based

Job Overview

The Associate Medical Director will provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory expertise across IQVIA divisions as requested by her/his Line Manager. The role involves participating in all aspects of Medical Science involvement on assigned trials, serving as a medical expert during the project lifecycle, and providing therapeutic and medical expertise to business development activities.

Essential Functions

1. Serve as Medical Advisor on assigned projects and act as the primary point of contact for the Medical Team and site personnel.
2. Provide guidance on medical and scientific aspects of projects, support investigative sites with protocol-related issues, and review protocols, CRFs, and IDBs.
3. Attend Investigator Meetings, review adverse events, and collaborate with Pharmacovigilance on SAE reviews.
4. Support medical review of CSR and patient narratives, and coordinate the medical team and budget management.
5. Be available 24/7 for protocol-related issues, with periodic travel as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Medical degree from an accredited medical school, with an active medical license.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical medicine post-residency.
3. Specialty Board certification in Endocrinology; experience in cardiology is a plus.
4. Preferably 4+ years' clinical trials experience in industry settings.
5. Strong knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects in relevant therapeutic areas, along with familiarity with applicable regulations.
