Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Smileat

Smileat is a Spanish company founded in 2015 with the vision to revolutionize organic baby food by offering honest alternatives with 0% added sugar and salt, avoiding additives and sweeteners, and using organic ingredients and sustainable packaging.

Currently, we are the second-largest organic baby food brand in market share, the top-selling Spanish brand in our category, and the fastest-growing child food brand online. We are seeking a proactive, organized, and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsible for planning, directing, and supervising daily operations to ensure efficiency, resource optimization, and strategic implementation for sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operational Management : Oversee and optimize processes across all company areas.
• Leadership and Team Management : Lead, motivate, and manage operational leaders; foster a collaborative, high-performance environment; promote talent development and training.
• Technological and Methodological Implementation : Use technological tools and agile methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational time; analyze KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Budget Control : Manage budgets, oversee inventory, logistics, and supply chain to control costs and enhance profitability.
• Risk Management : Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar; graduate or MBA preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, data management, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in project management, process improvement, and resource optimization.
• High proficiency in English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerBI.
